Surging heavyweight Josh Hokit went on tirade on social media after former two-division UFC champion Alex Pereira posted a video campaigning for a rematch with Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight belt.
In a series of X posts targeting Pereira and making his case for the next shot at Gane, Hokit criticized the idea that Pereira and Ilia Topuria could challenge for belts next after both got finished by Gane and Justin Gaethje this past June at UFC White House, respectively.
"As a fan, that fight makes no ***** sense," wrote Hokit, who finished Derrick Lewis on that same card. "I watched you get demolished. How about a more favorable match up like Sergei [Pavlovitch] who is basically a striker & way less athletic than Ciryl. How about you get one ***** win in this weight class before you are gifted another ***** le shot."
"Growing up, I loved the UFC & all of its fighters," he continued on a separate post. "So it gives me great pleasure to use my platform today to speak the truth: neither Ilia Topuria nor Alex Pereira deserve a ***** ***** le shot in their next fight. They both got handily destroyed. Make them earn it and fight their way back like everyone else."
Hokit argued that Tom Aspinall's manager Eddie Hearn is "obviously" stalling to "buy time in contract negotiations" instead of working on a deal for a ***** le unification bout with Gane. Hokit suggests, then, booking him versus Gane on the upcoming Madison Square Garden show November in New York, while Pereira battles Pavlovich on the same card.

A post in r/nextfuckinglevel shared video of Chinese cosplayer Dalaotian, a Douyin and TikTok creator known for hyper-realistic robot cosplay that has left viewers questioning whether she is human.
In one clip, a man asks her directly if she is real, and she responds, "I am real human," before smiling. Other clips appeared to show passersby stopping to stare, open-mouthed, as she walked through public ******* es.
Dalaotian is a 30-year-old influencer from Sichuan province, China, standing over 6 feet 3 inches tall, according to the South China Morning Post. She has amassed roughly five million followers and typically wears a metallic silver bodysuit, light blue cosmetic contact lenses, and a short bob wig styled after anime characters, occasionally shifting her aesthetic to resemble Barbie instead.
Several replies focused on her physical proportions as the key to the effect. One commenter wrote, "It's really the tiny waist that sells it I think. You just don't expect someone to have that unusually small waist compared to shoulders hips etc. The face definitely helps. She looks like Battle Angel Alita lol."
One commenter repeated an unverified claim about the cost of her transformation. They wrote, "I read in another post that she has spent about 150k in surgeries. That can't be healthy." The figure appears to be inaccurate, according to subsequent reporting.

Seattle Storm co-owner Celeste Keaton has been officially suspended and fined by the WNBA, following her interaction with two teenage fans who were supporting Sophie Cunningham — particularly the Fever guard's stance on banning transgender athletes from women's sports.
According to The Athletic, Keaton approached two teens prior to Tuesday night's game against the Indiana Fever, who beat the Seattle Storm that evening. The fans — who were both wearing shirts with XX and XY chromosomes on them — were backing Cunningham, who has been vocal about IL26-638, a statewide ballad initiative in Washington schools that would ban transgender students from participating in girls' athletics. Keaton allegedly cursed out the teens and called them "fucking insane."
