Two generations of supermodels come together for the occasion. Gigi Hadid (wearing Versace Spring 1994), Anok Yai, Paloma Elsesser, Imaan Hammam, He Cong, Adwoa Aboah, Mica Argañaraz, Julia ***** is, and Emily Ratajkowski feature on one side of the 72 Magazine cover. "Gigi actually looks good, for a change! I give credit where credit is due, unlike Vogue France," remarked BalkaniStaCouture upon checking out the covers.
"I like the concept of the dual covers and the two generations of models on each side; very nicely done. There's some strong cover imagery here; I am particularly fond of the Gigi Hadid cover – and love the archival Versace," voiced vogue28.
Yet not everyone was feeling it. "What an unfortunate decision to juxtapose the 90s vs today. You make people realize how the past is superior to the present. This magazine is already setting itself up for irrelevance," Lola701 noted.

Nashville Predators general manager Chris MacFarland hasn't done himself any favors by trading Luke Evangelista.
A forward who just had a career season as a 24-year-old? A unanimous fan favorite, once named one of Nashville's 25 "Most Beautiful People"? A key piece of the top-six forward group and a supposed part of the team's future?
And you trade him for two draft picks?
"This decision was not made lightly," MacFarland said after news of the trade with the New Jersey Devils broke in the evening of Sept. 1.
"These are some of the toughest moves that you have to do," he said. "A good player that has a lot of cachet with the organization for a few years, a dang good person, and he's done a good job here playing hockey for the Predators."

The Devils traded a conditional first-round pick and a second-round pick in the 2028 NHL Draft to the Nashville Predators to acquire forward Luke Evangelista on Tuesday night, the team announced.
Evangelista had a career-high 56 points (12 goals, 44 ******* ists) in 81 games last season in his fourth year with the Predators who drafted him in the second-round (42nd overall) in 2020. In 253 career games, the 6-foot, 183-pounder has 142 points on 45 goals and 97 ******* ists with a plus-6 rating.
The 24-year-old will be owed $3 million this season for the final year of his contract.
As for the details of what New Jersey is sending Nashville, the conditional draft pick belongs to the Colorado Avalanche. If the Avalanche do not transfer their 2027 pick to the Toronto Maple Leafs or the choice in 2028 is in the top 10, the Predators' pick will be in 2029.

Aug 24 (Reuters) - Gold rose to its highest in more than three months on Monday, building on gains from last ‌week as a muted dollar boosted appeal, while investors awaited U.S. ‌inflation data and remarks from Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh this week for signals on the interest-rate path.
Spot gold was up 0.7% at $4,635.25 per ounce by 0838 GMT, hitting its highest level since May 15, while U.S. gold futures rose 0.2% to $4,691.10.
Bullion rose more than 5% last week after the U.S. Treasury Department's buyback support plan ‌pushed the dollar lower, making ⁠greenback-priced bullion more affordable for foreign investors.
"The consolidation of gold prices above $4,600, and the potential for further gains, will depend ⁠to a large extent on the U.S. dollar remaining under pressure and Treasury yields stabilizing at current levels or declining further," ActivTrades senior ***** yst Ricardo Evangelista said.

The '90s were a golden age for the modeling world and it gave us some of the biggest household names today. We still think about some of them often (like Naomi Campbell's most iconic looks from the '90s). Further, it's also hard not to wonder what many supermodels of the era look like now. The actress, 59, took to Instagram Monday, Aug. 17, to announce that her stepson, François Pinault Jr., welcomed his first baby with wife Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck.
The post featured a sweet video of Hayek, who is from Mexico, cradling the baby boy and speaking to him in Spanish as he giggled. Hayek also revealed that his name is François, like his father and grandfather.
"We are blessed to welcome the fourth living generation of Francois'. Although I will call him Panchito. He seems to love it, and I cannot love him more," the caption read.

"I went to Milano to do the fashion shows where I was booked for 20 shows. As I was doing my fittings, and as they were seeing me, they all started canceling me," Evangelista recalled on the series. She said she only ended up doing four shows that year, but then her luck changed. Her open schedule allowed her to book a job with Vogue Italia to be photographed by Steven Meisel. She made the cover, which led to other Vogue features, and suddenly she was booked and busy. Last week, Texas A&M coach Michael Earley made the first significant staff change of his career at the helm, firing second-year pitching coach Jason Kelley, leading to the pursuit and hiring of MLB pitching coach/coordinator Barry Enright, who has spent the last six seasons with the Arizona Diamondbacks, Los Angeles Angels, and, most recently, the Athletics.
While Enright's lack of college coaching experience, especially recruiting, looked like a major red flag, the Aggies quickly added two of the top arms in the transfer portal, as former UNLV right‑hander Jase Evangelista and Wichita State transfer RHP Johnny Nuanez are headed to College Station, while the Aggies are predicted to land Texas State transfer Wade Cooper this week.
Enright's background as a developer was the primary reason Earley hired him over several current college coaches, feeling that his pro-level perspective and ability to connect with up-and-coming pitchers who need to tweak small parts of their game to reach their potential. If A&M lands Cooper, it's clear that Enright won't have issues landing transfer players.
This week, former MLB manager Bo Porter, who served as the Angels' first base coach during Bo Enright's time with the organization, praised Earley's decision to bring his former coaching partner on board, feeling that the Aggies may have just hired one of the "best pitching coaches in the country" during his interview with TexAgs.
"I commend Texas A&M for the hire," Porter stated to TexAgs. "When you look at Barry Enright's career, from the player to coach transitioning from the professional ranks to Texas A&M. I believe Texas A&M just hired one of the best pitching coaches in the country."

Texas A&M's back-to-back losses to USC in the College Station Regional weren't shocking, given the pitching struggles that haunted the Aggies throughout the regular season, and even though the offense scored 17 runs against Texas State, second-year coach Michael Earley's top three batters struggled at the plate when it mattered most.
However, after firing second-year pitching coach Jason Kelley, Earley hired former MLB pitching coach/coordinator Barry Enright to the position, resulting in two key transfer commitments from Wichita State transfer pitcher Johnny Nuanez, who finished the 2026 season with 6-2 with a 2.56 ERA over 56 1/3 innings and, on Sunday night, UNLV transfer HP Jase Evangelista, who was 4-1 with 64 strikeouts as a junior.
Already expected to land Texas State transfer RHP Wade Cooper, who will reportedly arrive on campus this Wednesday, On3 insider Pete Nakos also confirmed that fact, and after landing Clemson transfer C/OF Nate Savoie on Monday night, Michael Earley deserves credit for making significant progress this month.
Sources tell On3 that Cooper is set to arrive on a visit to Texas A&M on Wednesday. It was previously set for Monday. The Aggies are expected to land a commitment from the right-hander, who finished the season with a 4.72 ERA in 66.2 innings pitched with 73 strikeouts and five saves.
Likely set to lose star hitters Caden Sorrell, Gavin Grahovac, and Chris Hacopian, Earley will need to add a handful of veteran infielders/outfielders to pair with incoming sophomores Nico Partida, Boston Kellner, and Jorian Wilson after Savoie, Jack Bell, and Western Kentucky transfer infielder Lane Arroyos.
