The South West Londoners kick-off their European campaign against a side that competed strongly in Liga F Moeve last season.
When speaking to the media in the pre-match press conference, Chelsea boss Bompastor admitted that Real Sociedad will provide a strong test but believes that her own side are well-prepared.
"It will be a strong test," Bompastor said. "Real Sociedad finished third in the Liga F. They are a Spanish team, so they have a really strong philosophy in possession, but they have a lot of quality out of possession as well.
"We know everything about them now and we have prepared for the game well. The game will also be about us and I'm confident with the quality we have shown during pre-season."
With no major international tournaments this summer, the Chelsea squad have had the oppoortunity to enjoy an extended break. Bompastor says that everyone is now refreshed and ready to go.

Chelsea have confirmed the signing of ******* an international Manaka Matsukubo from North Carolina Courage on a five-year deal.
The 21-year-old arrives in west London after establishing herself as one of the brightest young talents in world football, having been named the NWSL Midfielder of the Year last season.
Speaking after completing the move, Matsukubo shared her excitement about joining the reigning Women’s Super League champions.
“I’m so excited to be joining Chelsea, a club with a lot of history. As a small child, I followed Chelsea because it is a club everyone in the world knows about. The club has a strong history of winning trophies and has done so well at the top of the game, so I couldn’t pass up this opportunity, and I want to help continue this club’s tradition of winning trophies for years to come,” she said.
Capable of playing as both an attacking midfielder and central striker, Matsukubo is known for her creativity, technical quality and eye for goal. Her ability to operate across the front line adds another attacking option to Sonia Bompastor’s squad ahead of the new campaign.

England international Lucy Bronze has signed a contract extension with Chelsea until 2027.
The experienced defender joined Chelsea from Barcelona ahead of the 2024/25 season and has become a key part of Sonia Bompastor's side, making 56 appearances, scoring five goals and helping the club win four trophies across two seasons.
She said: "With the move to Stamford Bridge, it's a really exciting time to be part of the team.
"I feel like this is the right thing for me at this time.
"I've really enjoyed the last two years being at Chelsea and being back in England, and I feel like we're in a place now where we're moving forward as a club."
