Anheuser-Busch InBev has invested in the production of its Cutwater spirits RTDs, a brand the brewing giant has said is enjoying rapid sales growth.
The company is spending $13m at its facility in Baldwinsville in New York state, part of which will also go towards the manufacturing of its Michelob Ultra beer brand.
The capital injection is part of the group's plan to invest $300m across its US production this year. AB InBev also invested the same amount in its production sites in 2025.
In a statement, the Stella Artois brewer said the move is going to "add new production capabilities for Cutwater to help meet rapidly growing demand".
The capital injection will also grow production of Michelob Ultra and "upgrade can and bottle lines", the group said.

Who would've thought when he was fired from Saturday Night Live that Shane Gillis would go on to become one of the biggest comedians on the planet? His stand-up comedy took off, he has his own series, Tires, available with a Netflix subscription, and he also just so happens to be a spokesperson for Bud Light, one of the biggest beers in the nation. Hopefully, all three of those things are still true later this week, following a viral clip where he (allegedly) indulged in a rival beer.
Gillis was seated next to Matthew McConaughey at an MLS game between Austin FC and FC Dallas. The official MLS account posted a clip, which showed Gillis sitting with a Dos Equis, which is owned by Heineken and is a major rival to Anheuser-Busch. It appears someone noticed the camera on the comedian and quickly handed the man a Bud Light. Check out the funny moment:
Anyone who watches professional sports has no doubt seen Shane Gillis in several Bud Light ads. He's acted as a celebrity face of the brand for a couple of years now, and his ads are very memorable and very funny.

You've probably never ordered a Skol at your local bar. But it's basically the Bud Light of the Southern Hemisphere. Skol is ubiquitous, affordable, and ice-cold at every Brazilian beach kiosk from Belém to São Paulo.
Skol's parent company is Ambev (NYSE: ABEV), Latin America's dominant brewer and a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev (NYSE: BUD). Besides local winners like Skol, Ambev bottles and distributes global brands like Budweiser, Stella Artois, and Corona.
