The Washington Commanders just put star wide receiver Terry McLaurin on season-ending injured reserve after his knee injury against the San Francisco 49ers. The Commanders could now find themselves down another wideout when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8 following their bye week.
Treylon Burks has been downgraded in the team's latest injury report, per ESPN's John Keim. After being limited on Wednesday, Burks did not participate on Thursday due to a foot injury.
In his fifth year in the league, the 26-year-old Burks is on course to surpass his debut season with the Commanders last year. In just five games, he is one catch away from matching his 10 receptions last year. His 152 receiving yards and two touchdowns are already more than his total last season.
