Bournemouth vs Sunderland was played on Sunday afternoon, just a few short days after they had both won in the Europa League.
Both teams went into this game desperate for a league win that would take them out of the bottom three, and when the game began, it appeared that only one team wanted the points. Sunderland hit the self-destruct ******* on, conceded early on, and then had a player sent off in the 17th minute.
The game ended 2-0 to Bournemouth; however, it could have been more. Here is what has been said since the final whistle from the managers, players, pundits, and the fans.

Sunderland's head coach said: "We were below the level today. It is hard to take – it is really painful. We were not Sunderland today and that is not acceptable.
"I am disappointed for our fans because they were with us until the end, but we were not there on the pitch, which is a big problem in the Premier League."
