Police searched Trippie Redd's all-black South Florida mansion on Tuesday, Oct. 6, while executing a search warrant.
NBC6 reported several police vehicles outside the home in Southwest Ranches, a town in western Broward County.
Officials have not disclosed what prompted the search or what investigators were looking for. It also remains unclear whether Trippie Redd, whose legal name is Michael Lamar White, is a target of the investigation.
TMZ reported that the rapper's representatives had not responded to its request for comment.
Reporting from outside the home for NBC6, Lena Salzbank said law-enforcement personnel had been coming and going for hours. She identified SWAT officers and crime-scene investigators among those entering and leaving the property.
