Michael Douglas reflects on his decades-long career and personal life in his new memoir One **** uva Ride, available now
In this week's PEOPLE cover story, he opens up about sharing deeply personal stories about his drug use and affairs
The two-time Oscar winner also reflects on family, legacy and life after his cancer diagnosis
Michael Douglas once had dreams of being a race car driver after burning rubber at 150 mph with Steve McQueen in the late star's Porsche 908.
For his PEOPLE cover shoot more than 50 years later, he's cruising through the streets of New York City in a 1962 Aston Martin convertible, a rare vintage sports car that would turn the head of even Wall Street's Gordon Gekko.
