A woman's experiment with changing the name on her food order has gone viral after she claimed that using a man's name in the Chipotle app supposedly resulted in noticeably larger portions.
The story spread across TikTok and Instagram, prompting other women to share similar experiences in which changing the name attached to an order to a more masculine one purportedly affected the food quantity they received.

Her biggest viral moment, however, came from a video about a much more routine activity: ordering food from Chipotle.
Originally posted to TikTok in December 2025 and later reposted to Instagram in September 2026, the video shows Kelly claiming that she received more food than usual from Chipotle after placing her order under a masculine name.
