Tapatío had a tough road test against Dorados on Matchday 8 of the Apertura 2026. After a hard-fought match, the Rojiblancos ended up falling 3-1 to the Sinaloa side.
Tapa opened the scoring in the opening minutes with a goal from Daniel Villaseca. However, the home team made the most of its chances to come from behind. Although the Rojiblancos kept pushing forward with different combinations, they were unable to close the gap on the scoreboard.
