Olivia Oras, a popular Finnish social media influencer, died aged 27 after losing consciousness under anesthesia before a scheduled liposuction procedure at a private clinic in Helsinki. Olivia's death is currently being investigated by police as aggravated manslaughter.

According to an investigative broadcast from the Finnish public broadcaster Yle, Olivia's problems started due to the anesthesia before the liposuction. Olivia lost consciousness and was moved to Helsinki University Hospital, where she eventually died. Later, Yle discovered from Helsinki District Court that August 31st is considered the date of the suspected offense. Detective Chief Inspector Juha Piippo, who led the case, reported that Olivia stayed in the hospital for several days between the suspected crime and her death.
Juha Piippo revealed that police suspect the involvement of a doctor or doctors in Olivia's death. However, the detective refused to provide any information on suspects' detainment or arrest.
Police carried out a special search at the Plastic Surgery Center clinic on Aleksanterinkatu street on Thursday. Police conduct a special search when there is possible information that a doctor's office or similar institution is involved.
