Now that Trent Grisham landed on the injured list with a hamstring strain, Jones will be in the lineup almost every day for the remainder of the regular season.
Grisham's hamstring strain is his second of the season, and it may keep him on the shelf for the rest of September.
Without wishing injury on anyone, Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller wrote Monday that this may be a good thing for Jones and the Yankees.
