Napoli have officially confirmed that Scott McTominay has had a successful procedure carried out on his heart and that he is expected to return to training with the Partenopei first team in around two weeks' time.
Last week, it was confirmed that McTominay would have to seek medical attention after being diagnosed with a mild, benign arrhythmia.

The club has confirmed in a statement that the corrective procedure was successfully carried out at the Spire Hospital in McTominay's hometown in Manchester on Tuesday morning. The club has also confirmed that the midfielder will be able to return to training with the first team group after a rest period of around two weeks.
"As was planned, Scott McTominay had an ablation procedure carried out at the Spire Manchester Hospital during the morning," read a statement on the club website. "The surgery was perfectly successful," it confirmed.
