GREEN BAY, WI — Notre Dame football linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa (left ACL) did not participate in pregame warmups with his position group on Sunday night at Lambeau Field.
The third-year linebacker, who had been listed as questionable at the start of Wisconsin week, wore sunglasses and sweatpants as he tossed a football to his fellow linebackers along with Notre Dame graduate ****** istants.
Considered a potential high-round NFL Draft pick as soon as next spring, Viliamu-Asa suffered his second career ACL tear to his left knee in the Senior Day win over Syracuse last Nov. 22.
Homecoming: An emotional Green Bay homecoming ahead for Notre Dame's James Flanigan
With "KVA" apparently sidelined, Notre Dame figures to lean more heavily on the three-man linebacker rotation of Drayk Bowen, Jaiden Ausberry and Jaylen Sneed along with sophomore Madden Faraimo.
