Cody Campbell has never shied away from controversy and his latest comments are further proof why the Texas Tech billionaire donor is seeking retribution in the 2026 college football season.
Campbell was part of the new Paramount+ documentary on the Red Raiders, ******* led 'The Program', which detailed the situation with Brendan Sorsby's gambling saga. The four-part series went behind-the-scenes as the chairman of the Texas Tech Board of Regents aired his feelings on Sorsby getting booted to the NFL.
"Looking back on it, I know that Texas Tech and I handled everything with integrity. And we did things the right way," Campbell says in the documentary. "We're not going to forget about that. And I don't think they'll forget about it either when we're up by 40 and still throwing the ball in the fourth quarter."
It felt like Campbell was blowing off steam. But his comments posted on social media before the Red Raiders took the field on Saturday are a continuation of his frustration with the Sorsby situation.
