Anton Harrison spent most of training camp at left tackle for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and that is where he will stay.
This move from right tackle to left was a product of Cole Van Lanen being sidelined on the PUP list for much of camp.
Nearly every one of Harrison's regular season snaps in his first three NFL seasons have come at right tackle. So how has the transition to the left side of the line gone for him?
"I think that he is naturally someone who fits the bill for the left tackle spot," GM James Gladstone said. "And I think he would tell you that as well. It's where he's most comfortable, naturally. And I don't think anybody would say that they're concerned or have some sense of questioning whether or not he can perform at a high level there or any different than he did at right tackle."
Gladstone also mentioned that he believes right tackle best suits Van Lanen. Once he is a full-go, that is where he will be lining up.
