Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's move back to the U.K. was a big decision, so finding a perfect place to settle down is key.
According to a Wednesday, September 2, report in journalist Rob Shuter's Naughty But Nice Substack, Princess Diana's younger brother, Charles Spencer, offered the Sussexes the possibility of living at the Spencer family's Althorp Estate in Northamptonshire.
However, the former Suits star apparently wasn't too keen on the idea.
"Meghan took one look at the reality and knew it wouldn't work," a Naughty But Nice source claimed. "Too remote, too far from London and, frankly, not nearly grand enough."
According to the Substack, Harry's uncle, 62, offered up The Falconry, a 17th-century lodge on his family's historic grounds that was reportedly built in the early 1600s.
