As the Cowboys ****** emble their 2026 practice squad, they're not limiting themselves just to their own training camp players who didn't quite make the 53-man roster.
On Monday, the team announced they will be signing three-year veteran offensive lineman and Super Bowl LVIII winner Wanya Morris to the scout team.
Morris, 25, was originally a third-round draft pick by the Chiefs back in 2023. The former Tennessee and Oklahoma product started four games as a rookie for Kansas City and got into another 11 contests en route to their Super Bowl win over the 49ers. The following season, he started 11 games and saw time in every regular-season tilt, even catching a pass for a touchdown along the way.
The Georgia native was relegated to backup duty to start the 2025 campaign but still found the field in 12 games, until a December knee injury cut his season short.
The Falcons traded for Morris in June, but he did not survive Sunday's roster cutdown and went unclaimed on waivers.
