Tua Tagovailoa returned to Miami Gardens with his new team Atlanta Falcons after spending six years here. Every return is special, but Tagovailoa's return certainly wasn't taken well by the home fans.
After playing for Miami Dolphins for over half a decade, this was the first time he had played against the home team in Miami Gardens. As fans booed him loudly, he didn't pretend to not notice it, rather opened up about it after the game.
Despite spending years in Miami as the franchise quarterback, fans in attendance expressed their frustration. Many Dolphins supporters still felt let down by the team's lack of playoff success during his tenure as they achieved just one postseason appearance, alongside his turnovers and injury concerns toward the end of his run.

Despite the hostile reception, Tagovailoa took a reflective approach after the game. Addressing reporters, he acknowledged hearing the crowd but reiterated his lasting appreciation for the city and the team.
