Getting stuck behind trees is a common situation on the course. Since it's not a shot you can easily practice at the range, knowing what to do when it happens can be tricky.
Professional long driver Averee Dovsek shares a tip on what has helped her hit more efficient punch shots.
Many golfers think you need to take a 4-iron or something that keeps the ball low, but they hit it over the green or miss their target. Taking something like a seven or 8-iron can get the ball flight low and the right distance. More club is not always better, and a chip short of the green can be an easy up and down.
