The Los Angeles Lakers are still looking to add to their roster despite making plenty of moves this summer. Their starting lineup is expected to look almost entirely different, with Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves being the only returning starters.
LA has pursued several targets throughout the summer and has been successful with many of them. However, one name the Lakers have been chasing for months is Jonathan **** inga, and there appears to be mutual interest between the two sides.
"There is mutual free agent interest between Jonathan **** inga and the Lakers, per Jovan Buha. Los Angeles continues to work behind the scenes to secure **** inga's commitment as their new wing addition," NBA reporter Evan Sidery wrote.
With the pursuit lasting nearly the entire summer, **** inga's options have dwindled, leaving only a few potential destinations. As things stand, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lakers are the two finalists to land him in free agency.
