More details about Hayden Panettiere's relationship with Brian Hickerson continue to emerge days after her death.
According to a new report from Rob Shuter's Naughty But Nice Substack published on Monday, August 24, Brian, 37, was pressuring the Scream 4 star to have a child with him.
"Brian wasn't casually talking about someday becoming a father — he was pushing Hayden to have a baby with him," a source told the outlet.
However, Panettiere — who shared daughter Kaya, 11, with her ex-fiancé Wladimir Klitschko — "understood exactly what another pregnancy could potentially mean for her emotionally," according to the source.
"She wasn't convinced it was something she wanted to risk," the source continued. "Hayden knew how badly things had gone after Kaya. She had lived through postpartum depression, addiction and the heartbreak of being separated from her daughter. Brian wanted a baby. Hayden understood the possible consequences. That was the tension between them."
