The WNBA returns Monday with two games after a four-game Sunday slate that featured several important results. The Dallas Wings beat the Seattle Storm 92-70 behind 32 points from Paige Bueckers, while the Indiana Fever defeated the Chicago Sky 113-90 as Caitlin Clark scored 37 points and Kelsey Mitchell added 30. Washington also clinched a playoff berth by beating the Portland Fire 105-100, while the Las Vegas Aces defeated the Toronto Tempo 88-78.
The first game Monday features the Golden State Valkyries visiting the Minnesota Lynx in a matchup between two Western Conference playoff teams. Minnesota has won six straight and owns the WNBA's best record, while Golden State will try to end its nine-game losing streak against the Lynx. Minnesota won the teams' most recent meeting 77-66 on Aug. 19.
The schedule also brings Angel Reese back to action when the Atlanta Dream host the Los Angeles Sparks. Reese was dominant in the teams' previous meeting, going 9-for-9 from the field with 20 points, 10 rebounds, eight ******* ists and three steals in Atlanta's 124-88 victory.
