Former NBA guard Delonte West has revealed that LeBron James and his family have continued checking on him during difficult periods.
West shared the update during an August 23 appearance on Kick streamer N3on's livestream. His comments offered a glimpse into the personal relationship that survived years of public scrutiny.
West said James regularly contacted his mother to make sure he was doing well. "A lot of guys that I played with, LeBron, he's my – him and his family has called," West said, before adding, "He called my mom all the time, made sure I'm okay."
