Borussia Dortmund started the season with a disappointing defeat to Bayern Munich in the DFL Supercup, where the absence of depth in the fullback position was clearly visible.
That is why the club are looking to shore up their defensive unit by signing Hector Fort from Barcelona.
Fort is expected to add more depth to Dortmund's fullback department and compete with Julian Ryerson for a place in the starting eleven.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona and Dortmund are in talks to finalise Fort's move to the Bundesliga.
