Yankees starter Ryan Weathers exited Saturday's game at Yankee Stadium with a left forearm injury.
After delivering a fourth-inning pitch to the Toronto Blue Jays' Myles Straw, the left-handed Weathers grimaced and moved to the back of the pitching mound. He was soon replaced by reliever Yerry de los Santos.
In 3.1 innings Saturday, Weathers yielded two runs on eight hits and no walks, with three strikeouts in a 72-pitch effort.
According to the Yankees, Weathers exited with forearm discomfort and was headed for imaging Saturday.
Last week, the Yankees put fellow lefty starter Max Fried back on the 15-day injury list due to a second bone bruise to his pitching elbow this season, though Fried is hopeful of returning by early September.
