Rams' low TE ranking from ESPN ***** yst doesn't make any sense originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The Los Angeles Rams have the NFL's best roster, considering their all-in plan this offseason added Myles Garrett, Trent McDuffie, Jaylen Watson, Ty Simpson, and others to an already strong roster.
While they have some very exciting position groups, especially on the offensive side of the ball at running back and wide receiver, the tight end room is one fans can be excited about. It's a very deep group with some potentially high-impact players.
However, ESPN's Mike Clay named the Rams' TE room as the 30th-ranked in the NFL, ahead of only two teams. It's a surprisingly low ranking, and one that, quite frankly, doesn't make much sense.
Clay ranked the Rams at No. 30 in his TE ranking, and also called them a "Unit to watch" this upcoming season.
