The Denver Broncos have added a new player to the roster with two preseason games left before the regular season kicks off.
After bringing former second-round pick Taylor Rapp in for a look last week, the Broncos officially signed him on Thursday, adding veteran depth to the safety position. Rapp was a free agent after spending the past three seasons with the Buffalo Bills.
Rapp could enter the season as the primary backup safety behind starters Talanoa Hufanga and Brandon Jones. Here, we'll get Broncos fans a little bit more familiar with the team's newest addition.
Rapp put together a solid college career at the University of Washington. He was a starter as a freshman and won the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year Award in 2016. He was named to the first-team All-Pac-12 team in 2017 and 2018. This put Rapp on the map as a legitimate NFL prospect.
He decided to forego his senior season and entered the draft following his junior year.
