ST. CLOUD, MN — The soccer season is right around the corner, and there are a handful of girls' soccer squads with high hopes going into the season. Others might just wish to see the ball go into the net in each game.
Starting with the best the St. Cloud metro has to offer:
2025 record: 18-3-1, Class 1A co-third place finish
Top returners: F Amelia Newiger, F Nora Simones, F/GK Jordan Bovy
While not quite as dominant in recent years as their boys team counterparts, the girls over at Cathedral have certainly impressed in their own regard with three consecutive seasons without a conference loss, and most recently a co-third place finish at the state tournament.
