Franclim Carvalho could not withstand the rough spell in charge of Botafogo.
According to ge, the 39-year-old Portuguese coach was fired this Tuesday (18).
He leaves the club after the defeats to Cienciano (6-1) and Vitória (1-0).
The decision comes two days before Glorioso face the Peruvian side in the second leg of the Copa Sudamericana round of 16.
Franclim's departure is one of the first decisions made by businessman Gabriel de Alba, the new investor in Botafogo's SAF.
