Scottie Scheffler won the Fedex St. Jude Championship over the weekend earning $3.6 million in the process. Scheffler moved up some impressive all-time leaderboards with the win and finds himself among some of the best golf company over.
The easiest way to explain Scheffler's incredible career is to say he's about to pass Tiger Woods as the highest earner in PGA history. Scheffler has now won $119,964,411 in his career. Woods is sitting at $120,999,166. Scheffler passed Rory McIlroy with his latest win. McIlroy is the only other player to win over $116, 488,372. Fourth place belongs to Justin Rose who has earned more than $78 million.

There's a chance that Scheffler moves past Woods over the next two events. There is a $20 million purse at the BMW Championship this weekend and another $40 million in prize money at the Tour Championship where the top eight of the 30 player field will earn at least $1 million and Scheffler needs $1,034,756 to pass Woods.
The PGA really should really make sure they bring their oversized checkbook to every tournament Scheffler plays in until he passes Tiger.
