The Danish midfielder was pursued by Celtic across three consecutive transfer windows before eventually leaving Go Ahead Eagles for the Ligue 2 side earlier this summer.
Celtic's attempts to land Breum became particularly notable last summer when Go Ahead Eagles' sporting director publicly mocked the Hoops' approach, comparing their negotiations unfavourably with Rangers' move for Oliver Antman.
Breum has wasted little time making an impression at his new club.
The 22-year-old scored against Rangers at Ibrox during pre-season, before also finding the net in friendlies against Lausanne and Venezia.
He carried that form into the competitive campaign.
