The Los Angeles Dodgers dropped the final game of their four-game set to the Milwaukee Brewers, losing the series after scoring just two runs in the finale.
The Dodgers' offense struggled to get runs on the board all series, and had just five hits in the final game of the set. Tarik Skubal had another strong outing for the Dodgers, though still hasn't quite shown his Cy Young-caliber talent in a Dodgers uniform just yet.
Skubal threw six innings despite a difficult start to the game, allowing just two runs on seven hits while striking out seven batters as well. He threw 109 pitches on the day, which is the most he has thrown all season.
The Brewers got on the board first in the second inning, loading the bases after Skubal issued two walks in the frame. With two outs, Luis Lara grounded a ball to Mookie Betts at shortstop, though Tommy Edman failed to bring in Betts' toss as a run scored.
