Feyenoord's Givairo Read had to make way against Go Ahead Eagles due to injury. After the eventual 2-2 draw, he spoke about his future.
Twenty-year-old Read was heavily linked to Nottingham Forest and recently saw a move to AS Roma fall through. Nevertheless, the right-back is by no means angry that it didn't go through.
"I am at a great club. I feel good and at home. I still have much to learn. I didn't necessarily have to leave; it was a great opportunity, but it just feels good here."
In the second half, and before the Deventer club's second goal, Read had to make way due to discomfort. He revealed more about his injury, even if all involved aren't too sure of the severity just yet.
"I had a problem with my thigh. It feels a bit stiff now, but we'll have to see later," he told ESPN.
