Nebraska football officially has its blackout game scheduled for October 31 against the Washington Huskies. This was announced by the program on Saturday afternoon.
This will be the second year in a row that Nebraska will host this type of event. They did so last year against the USC Trojans in what was a close contest.
The game ended in a 21-17 loss for the Huskers, with the turning point coming when starting quarterback Dylan Raiola went down with an ankle injury. He was out for the rest of the game, and the Trojans were able to capitalize.
Now, Nebraska will get a chance to win this game against a very talented Huskies team that features playmaking signal-caller Demond Williams. The fact that it is not Halloween makes it an interesting backdrop for a highly anticipated game by both players and fans.
