Supermodel Cindy Crawford and acclaimed actor Richard Gere were the "it" couple of the early '90s. In 1992, the pair's Vogue cover made fashion history. Fast-forward 34 years, and her daughter (Kaia Gerber) and his son (Homer Gere) are reimagining the iconic shoot with a bold new cover photo for the magazine.
Crawford and Gere reportedly met in 1988 at the home of photographer Herb Ritts. The would-be legendary supermodel was only 21 at the time. Gere (who had already starred in American Gigolo, An Officer and a Gentleman, The Cotton Club, and other famous films) was a much older 38.

Despite the couple's age gap, they quickly got serious and eloped in 1991. But by 1995 their relationship had soured and the power couple divorced. Crawford went on to briefly date actor Val Kilmer and, in 1998, married entrepreneur Rande Gerber. She and Gerber later had two children: Presley Gerber (born in 1999) and Kaia Gerber (born in 2001).
Meanwhile, Gere welcomed his eldest son, Homer Gere, in 2000 with then-girlfriend actress Carey Lowell. The couple married in 2002 and divorced in 2016. He later married and had two more children with his current wife, Alejandra Silva.
