Wrexham got their competitive 2026/27 campaign underway last week, suffering their first defeat of the season.
The Red Dragons travelled to Middlesbrough in the first round of the Carabao Cup and lost 1-0, exiting the competition as a result.
Striker Sam Smith had a good chance to open the scoring on the night, but his effort was saved well.
Now, with some firepower lacking in Wrexham's attack, there is talk that they could land Joe Gelhardt from Leeds United.
