Players are earning their playing time by winning "all the little stuff."
That's what Colorado State offensive coordinator Pryce Tracy highlighted early in preseason camp. The little stuff includes how skill players play their role without the ball, how they finish the play when they do have the ball, how offensive linemen get involved in the play after the first phase of blocking.
Those are the differentiators Tracy looks for in determining who will be relied upon on the field.
Tracy followed new CSU coach Jim Mora from UConn and will run the offense for the first time. Here's a look at Tracy's thoughts and philosophies on a variety of topics around the offense.
Tracy doesn't want to divulge much X and O style info yet but did highlight some key pillars for CSU's offense.
