Myles Lewis Skelly has emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United as they search for a long-term replacement for Luke Shaw this summer.
Shaw is entering the final year of his contract at the club, and United reportedly do not have an appetite to offer him an extension. This situation has encouraged them to explore options for a new left back, with Lewis Skelly now among the players they are considering.
The Red Devils previously attempted to sign Lewis Hall from Newcastle United but were unsuccessful, leaving them to focus their attention on other targets. Lewis Skelly has now become a player of interest as they look to strengthen that position.
Arsenal could potentially face pressure if the defender continues to receive fewer minutes than he would like, as other clubs may attempt to take advantage of the situation. However, the Gunners have not indicated that they are willing to allow him to leave.
As reported by Football Insider, ****** nal have informed United that Lewis Skelly is not for sale. The club recognise his quality and do not want to strengthen a direct rival by allowing him to move to Old Trafford.
