While she was once a senior working royal and part of the King's inner circle, Sarah Ferguson has not been seen publicly with the monarch in nearly a year. However, the former ******* ss of York could be planning to reconnect with the monarch, a royal author claims.
Sarah's last official public appearance alongside the King was at the late ******* ss of Kent's funeral on 16 September 2025. Since then, the former ******* ss and her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor have retreated from public life amid renewed scrutiny over their links to paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
But according to royal expert Phil Dampier, Sarah "will want to try and get back in with the King for the sake of her daughters", Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. Sarah and Andrew's grown-up daughters have not completely retreated from public life, but have kept a very low profile amid the controversy surrounding their parents.
