Meanwhile, the Giallorossi midfielder spoke from his training camp in Wales, admitting that he never considered leaving Roma: "I've never had anything else in my head other than Roma. I've never really had this thought of leaving. Certainly last January, when my agent and I saw that I hadn't played much, we thought about finding an alternative. But in the end, things worked out well, both for me and for the team, and I'm the happiest guy in the world."
Regarding the intensity of Gasperini's work, Pisilli, in his second consecutive training camp with the Grugliasco-born coach, confirmed the training sessions to: "The coach is always the same; he makes us work hard and intensely. From the first few days, we've had double sessions, and we've often slept at Trigoria because our goal is to be as ready as possible for the start of the league and the Champions League. We're working really hard."
