Shohei Ohtani will not be in the starting lineup for the Los Angeles Dodgers' home game against the Seattle Mariners on Thursday, July 30.
Ohtani has been dealing with an ongoing knee issue that has kept him off the mound since before the All-Star Game.
Andrew Friedman, the Dodgers' president of baseball operations, told reporters on July 29 that Ohtani's knee is the reason he's not pitching right now.
Another injury came to light after Ohtani mentioned during his recent media availability that he's dealing with right biceps discomfort.
