The two make appearances together every once in a while, but they have never really seemed to like each other, and they mostly stick to their own separate engagements. Perhaps that's why the news that Melania won't be present at one particular event isn't all that surprising.
RadarOnline is reporting that the first lady is set to skip the rescheduled White House Correspondents' Dinner, which will take place 3 months after the event was cancelled after a gunman was apprehended. Cole Tomas Allen, the alleged gunman, pleaded not guilty to all charges during a court appearance in May.
