Manchester United have reached an agreement in principle with Manu Kone’s representatives over personal terms, per Corriere dello Sport.
The Red Devils have completed the signings of Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans from Chelsea and Aston Villa respectively.
But they want to add a third midfielder to the squad after Casemiro’s departure and Manuel Ugarte sustaining a long-term injury at the World Cup.
United have agreed personal terms with Kone and they are ready to submit a €50 million transfer bid.
However, that may not be enough for Roma, who are reportedly demanding a fee around €60m.
