Now her son, Jayden James, is speaking out about those rumors.
Britney Spears' son Jayden doesn't seem to be too happy with rumors that his mother has been cloned, although she's far from alone. Actors like Jim Carrey and Selena Gomez have also faced similar accusations that they have been replaced with clones.
"I hop on TikTok, and I see this one video that has 1.2 million likes, and the caption is like, 'The biggest theory ever: Is Britney Spears still alive?'" Jayden said during a July 17 livestream, per screen-recorded footage obtained by Us Weekly. "Like, bro, you can go to her page and see her right now."
He went on to call the accusation "ridiculous," adding, "It makes me know that a lot of the stuff on media is exaggerated and fake."
Instead of blaming fans for believing the "crazy" conspiracy theory, he put the blame on the media for taking advantage of "gullible" people.
