Kim Kardashian's boyfriend Lewis Hamilton is stepping in to help her 13-year-old daughter North West, who's determined to become a major star no matter what.
"Kim wants Lewis to be a big part of the kids' lives," reveals a source. "And right now, North is the one who needs the most support because she's throwing herself headfirst into this big showbiz career."
The teenager is gearing up to head out on her first headlining tour, a cross-country run with rapper Molly Santana that kicks off in Dallas on Wednesday, August 5 and ends in Los Angeles on Thursday, August 27 after making stops in New York City, Boston, Chicago and more.
"She's doing incredibly well despite all the negativity she gets online and Lewis is constantly reminding her not to lose sight of that," shares the source. "He loves that she's carving out her own unique path, but of course there are a lot of pitfalls ahead of her and as someone who can see the bigger picture, he can't help wanting to guide her through them."
Hamilton is also very careful not to overstep boundaries, says the source.
