His behavior in the last few weeks raised more than a few eyebrows, and many were upset by his visit to the U.K. in which he said he was a target of terrorism plots, failed to raise the millions he was supposed to and held a sparsely attended event for the 2027 Birmingham Invictus Games for the media.

After the publication of his memoir "Spare," in which he disclosed his kill count in Afghanistan, senior military figures warned he had endangered the very veterans the Games exist to serve. Former First Sea Lord Lord West argued that because the Games are so closely identified with Harry, the threat level would rise and serious security measures would be needed to protect competitors, warning that members of the Taliban, Islamic State and other terrorist groups might seek to avenge his comments.
Harry even released his own security report ahead of his latest U.K. visit, which warned that he faces an elevated terrorist threat in the U.K. and that the 2027 Games could become a mass-casualty target — a chilling prospect for participants already living with combat trauma.
