In a recent report, journalist Graeme Bailey claimed that Manchester City are eager to recruit Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes. It has been mentioned that the Mancunian club are trailing ***** nal in the race to land the Brazilian midfield ace, who wants to leave the Magpies this summer.
Guimaraes enjoyed a decent run of form at the Tyneside club as he was responsible for putting in a series of influential performances for them in the middle of the park. The 28-year-old made 41 appearances for Newcastle last season, scoring nine times and securing eight ***** ists in various competitions.
The Brazilian sensation is currently one of the best central midfielders in the Premier League. Hence, it is no surprise that Man City are in the mix to recruit him this off-season.
His current contract at St. James' Park will run out in the summer of 2028, which could make it tough for the Mancunian club to sign him on a cut-price deal later this year.
