The Vinicius Jr.-Real Madrid renewal saga is back in the limelight after the player's campaign at the FIFA World Cup came to an end.
The global event did, however, have a direct effect on the player's future as it showed the whole world the class that the Brazilian star represents.
Not only did his performances re-establish him as one of the best in the business but also reignited the flame in Real Madrid's administration to push for a renewal, even if it meant offering better terms.
As reported by Miguel Serrano (h/t The Madrid Zone) in a recent update, two recent phone calls between the club and the player changed everything in the situation.
