Vaibhav Sooryavanshi gets another shot at proving himself when India face England in Thursday's series-closing fifth T20I in Southampton, following a challenging start to his international journey.
The teenager made his debut last Saturday in Manchester but couldn't convert his start into a big score. Even so, his quickfire 14 off 10 ***** reflected the same fearless batting style that helped him rack up 776 runs during this year's IPL, a performance that earned him the Orange Cap at just 15 years old.

His next outing followed a similar pattern, falling for 13 that included two crisp sixes, before a testing bouncer from Jofra Archer got the better of him.
That pattern repeated itself in the fourth T20I, where Archer dismissed him once again, this time for 15 off 10 ***** , after Sooryavanshi mistimed a hook shot off another short delivery straight into the hands of a fielder at mid-on.
